Listed and Conservation Window Styles
Designed to give the appearance of a traditional window with the added advantage of good insulation.
We have devised two differing systems, A) one incorporating the narrow features of a traditional glazing bar and B) one with close fitting astregals (overlays).
System A utilises a 24mm bar and individual double glazed units, pointed with a proprietary sealant which has an advantage over putty pointing in that it does not harm the seal of the glass units.
System B utilises a single double glazed unit per sash with an overlay system utilising astregals incorporating back to back spacers within the glazing unit to give the appearance of individual panes.
In both systems the frames, glazing bar and astregals can be finished with an ovolo mould.
The above systems can also be incorporated into our doorsets to effect a visual match with that of the windows.
We advise we are in the process of patenting the above systems accordingly.
