We are able to offer a variety of windows and doors aluminium clad. The cladding is fixed onto the exterior surfaces, with timber remaining exposed on the inside. The aluminium is clipped on using plastic clips and a polyurethane adhesive is applied to the face of the clips on the vertical section only before the aluminium is fitted. This is to prevent them from slipping. Once the aluminium is clipped into place it is extremely difficult to remove. We use clips to allow an air gap between the timber and the aluminum. This ensures that if any moisture penetrates the cladding it can easily escape without sitting on the timber surfaces. The aluminium used is powder coated and it is available in any RAL, NCS and BS colours. The coating is guaranteed between 15-25yrs; therefore it is ideal for anyone desiring a low maintenance solution.
